sending A3 art through the post

Howdo all,just wondering what's best for sending A3 art through the post flat or rolled.

FLAT!

ALWAYS SEND FLAT. You can use some backing board from a completed sketchpad (I've never knowingly thrown one of those away) and a decent padded envelope, should keep it secure.

Thanks PJ, the two times I have posted A3 before I used flat cardboard backed envelopes,as usual the local post office had none, but had posting tubes and I was warry of using one. So I thought I'd better seek the answer from the all knowing hivemind.
