A quick question for any 2000ad experts out there: Can anyone tell me which Prog the Book 3 colour centrespreads in Nemesis appeared? And, were there any other parts in the whole story which were originally in colour but reprinted in black and white in subsequent collected volumes?

Many, many thanks anyone who can help!

Thanks Funt; were there colour centrespreads in all these issues or just one particular prog?

All of them: it was great.

So, Book III (aka The World of Nemesis) ran from 335-349 and took over the centre of the comic, and so the colour pages. Many of the episodes were only four pages long (10 of 15), so of the 67 pages, 30 were in colour. That's about 45%.

Book VI (Torquemurder) also nabbed the centre for the first half (episodes 1-6): so that's progs 482-487.

Might not be relevent to the reason behind the question but worth noting just in case the recent(ish) Deviant edition has all the colour work Kev O'Neill did to his original stuff for the Eagle Editions collected.

One last follow-up question - Was the colour reproduced in the four Nemesis 2000ad Ultimate Collection volumes?

Nor those early books or centrespreads, no; just the stuff you'd expect (Bride of the Warlock, Tomb of Torquemada, Enigmass Variations, etc)

Not the double page spreads I'm afraid, the rest of the colour strips are reprinted in colour, apart from Torquemada's Second Honeymoon from the 2000ad 1988 annual which is reproduced in greyscale.

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.
