Had a couple of progs get lost in the dimensional oubliette of RM over the last few years.  One thing I will give subs is that they always sort out a replacement no quibble and PDQ.

yeah I've done that before but had to do it about a year ago and don't want to take the p*ss so decided to cope for it this time.

I think that was Sintec. Not sure it was their last post on the subject but you can find one on page 350, post #5242, from back in December 2021.

Suggestions / Re: Judge Dredd TV series

There's nothing we can do at our end

I don't know what the budget is for Rogue Trooper (I'd go out on a limb and say it's around £10m (if that), since no backers have been mentioned and maybe there's a large element of self-financing)

Even if Rogue found an audience, it will be cheaper than a CGI MC-1 - you have people in masks to cut the amount of facial animation, less variety in costumes than a typical MC-1 population, and the CGI equivalent of a quarry is less work than a full blown city.

Well I'm having one of those melancholy days. Just one of those cases where something feels...off inside.
I'll keep myself busy and hopefully it'll go away, I could really do without spiralling again.

Besides the fact but I hope folks who've been having a rough patch lately are doing well.

Quote from: Tjm86 on 24 April, 2024, 07:12:06 AMEarly 80's Marvel does seem to be its hey-day.  By the late 80's they seem to have crawled up their own backsides before completely losing the plot in the speculator boom of the 90's. (trillion's of covers, holograms, card covers, die cut covers, cover covers ...)

I've not read much seventies or eighties Marvel as I was an annoying DC kid as a teenager (though I did always have a soft spot for Byrne's She-Hulk run and Groo), and I definitely plan to check out some of the recommended comics from this era, and Power Pack will be on that list. But I have recently read a good few series from Marvel from the 2010s and I think some of it is superb, I absolutely loved Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and Jason Aaron's Thor run when Jane Foster is the central character, plus am very fond of Matt Fraction's Hawkeye and Fantastic Faux series, Charles Soule's She Hulk issues and am making my way through the and enjoying first Spider-Gwen omnibus currently, so I definitely wouldn't write the company off completely.
