I always wanted to see Nemesis the warlock vs. Aliens. Thats one alien Torquemada wouldn't even try to eradicate!

Sounds like it would be a perfect Zarjaz strip... if there wasn't a Mills embargo on Nemesis fan stories.
So no coelition with America than. :'(
Damn, and it would have made so much sense......

General / New crossover concepts
« on: 26 August, 2011, 01:32:11 PM »
What I have noticed is that people general have a negative attichude to intercompany crossovers.
Most people see them as 'fan service' and it's true, some are of poor quality (I crinched reading Spawn/ Batman, but it's Frank Miller so what do you expect?) but I have found most of the Judge Dredd crossovers to be rather good.
As they are all canon and have had a long term effect on the Dredd world's history (Imprisonment of the dark judges in Die laughing, heavily armed patrols being applied to the undercity after Incubus etc) I was wondering if there could ever be any more out side Judge Dredd?
I always wanted to see Nemesis the warlock vs. Aliens. Thats one alien Torquemada wouldn't even try to eradicate!
Or perhaps Robo-Hunter vs. Terminator.

Any other sugestions

So this is going to be a 'back cover' front page to?
Meaning the front covers going to stretch over both the front and back?

MACH 1 was reprinted in the Extreme Editions not so long ago so it seems a bit unlikely.

Ok, I wasn't a fan when the extreme editions existed though, so i'll have to see if it ever get's reprinted again.
I personaly approve of the floppies. There useful for new fans.

They are still available from the 2000 AD shop:

Prog / Re: Prog 1748 : Weapons Hot!
« on: 25 August, 2011, 07:13:45 PM »
Not A bad prog in all.

Dredd: Getting there, SOMETHING happend this week which we can understand. Im begining to think Nadia might be something smiler to Amon Gill.......maybe.

3rillers: A worthy end to a worthy experiment. I wouldnt mind seeing them again. But make them more like 6 brothers. That one actualy scared the shiet out of me.

Savage: Damn that Rykove is a slick bugger. He reminds me of the Major from Hellsing, I just want to punch his specky* little.......Sorry...........yeah, im loving this strip........want to see more Blackbloods though......

Sin/Dext: Ok, I got on a a dodgy point in Sin/Dext history with Charons crossing. I'm enjoying it. But in the same way I enjoy Chuck Norris movies. I dont watch them because I like the charatcors (but I must say I would like to show Mrs.Deeds MY 'context') but for the freaking action!
And it certainly deliveres on that note.

Zombo:...............................'unable to comment as my lungs have exploded from lack of oxygen due to inability to breath while laughting so much'

'GASP'! LET THEM KNOW I DIED HATING YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Film & TV / Re: Last movie watched...
« on: 25 August, 2011, 07:03:05 PM »
Although im really quite old school comedy, Dad's army, Open all hours, sorry!, Last of the summer wine (Especialy the Compo and Cleggy years) ETC, The Inbetweeners is rediculously funny.
Along with Outnumbered, The IT crowd, and The big Bang theory it is perhaps amongst the few modern comedy's I would happely watch anytime.

Fans have long clamoured for a collection
And that's why they bought it when it was released two years ago.  :)

Or rather they opened it, saw the duplicated page, and said "Hmmm, I'll think I'll wait for the next edition. Hey, maybe that one will have a cowgirl with a frilly bra!"
HELL YEAH! She was HATZ!
Now why didn't that shut Carnosaur movie have her in? :D

Just finished reading mercy heights book two.
I'm enjoying it, but wishing they'd get it over with so we can have something 'new'.
Does anyone have any idea what will be reprinted next?
