Does anybody else (this is for people who dont have a subscription) have a problem with getting hold of the Meg?

Neither the shop where I have my order, nor the other newsagent locally can order the Megazine.

I am well narked at this as I want to have a look at what all the fuss is about.

Hey, I've been around since 120, and I don't remember Alec Trench.

The thrill pitcher thing is good though, I was there for about 10 mins before I really figured it out.

Morrigun was killed in the Mars story, she was replaced by STEELHORN, who was rebuilt by the spirit of Mars to get rid of the humans!

Nice link Oddboy.

Jampot, typing as someone who has been making mini comics on and off for almost ten years armed with nothing more than a photocopier, you just need to go for it. The best way to learn comics is to do them. There are lots of examples of mini comics breaking ground and heading for the big time: Yummy fur, Love & Rockets, Bone & Strangers in paradise off the top of my head.

The only things worth regretting are those things that you HAVE done!

Go for it.

Halo only picked up in book 2, when Alan decided to reduce the level of jargon in the series. Book 3 is a complete masterpiece, even now the stories around the war are powerful.

Top Ten IS as well written as Watchmen, and just as beatiful to look at, yet Watchmen was a landmark when it came out, as was Ronin by Frank Miller.

Thats my ten pence

Is there a directors cut? I would imagine there are some scenes that were not used, but aren't they on the DVD? (I have no idea myself)

Bear with me here, it is worth it.

This morning, tidying up in my front room I happened upon the Convention booklet from the UKCAC back in '88. I thought this would pass 1/2 an hour so I began to flick through.

There was a list of those attending that year who had advance tickets and I was surprised to find the following names:
Andrew Diggle
Anthony Williams
Fraser Irving.

Now, Was there anybody else there that year who now is a professional who didn't get their name in print.

By the way, That was the weekend the first deadline came out, and Glenn fabry spent all day Saturday painting in the bar, to give the pic away to a bloke who watched all day.

'Ow do? I've just been watching those divvy girls sing for their 5 mins of fame, and it sent me thinking. Can anybody out there thing of a good way to steal the pop idol format for a series in 2000? Maybe a series of polls with highlights from characters competing?

On second thoughts this is a little reminiscent of the battle staged in prog 2000. The only real difference would be that WE pick the winner!

any thoughts?

FB in manchester! It has been a long time.

Graham, the owner of Odyssey 7 used to be very wary of the FB people (never found out why, other than the usual business reasons).

I will have to return to the land of my birth to see what has changed.
