Wow - that's about as close to a perfect illustration as I could possibly imagine. I love the zombie-like Frankenstein too - I think most artists / movie-makers are realising the Karloff look doesn't quite cut it any more.
Just listened to the John Burns interview, which was hugely enjoyable. The longevity of comic artists absolutely blows me away sometimes, and I've always been a huge fan of his stuff. Also, quite an incredible range of work, from middle-class swingers to time-travelling giant worms. Didn't he do straight-up porn at some stage too? For one of the one-handed periodicals, iirc.
