Just caught up with the interview with John M Burns - superb thanks so much for that.

On an entirely different note Jame's Peaty's grail page has just been featured on Comic Art Fans (not for sale) but with a lovely big close up of the original art.

Christ he was so good.

"Iconic Breyfogle cover, one of my favorites of his Batman covers from Batman and Detective Comics. This was in a friend's storage locker which hadn't been opened in over a decade, forgotten. He purchased it directly from Norm back in 1989. Turned up on February 25, 2021, just two days before what would have been Norm's 61st birthday, R.I.P."

I know I have recently found a piece of artwork I had forgotten about but imagine having this in a storage  locker, lost for over a decade.

A bonus chat with the official art correspondent of the book club, the Pete Wells block returns to help me review the new America audiobook from 2000AD and Penguin Random House.

Thanks Eamonn! I'll be listening to this at work today.  Should be a nice contrast to the Easter bunnies and chicks I'll be painting on a window :)

A short bit of bonus audio. Yesterday I was a guest on Tony Esmond's Never Iron Anything podcast to talk about Fantastic Four #51 "This man, this monster".

And I managed to track down the lucky chap who own the iconic first page of art by Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott, and he had a story to tell me. Listen in at

Just caught up with the Mike Collins episode and what a great listen even by this wonderful podcast's standards. Apollo I'd never heard of but ordered already. Sounds fantastic but how the heck do they miss out the felt pen story - that's amazing!

Cheers, Colin. Yeah, how have we never heard the felt pen story before?
I don't think it was in the BBC Thirteen minutes to the moon podcasts series.

Apollo is fantastic, I was very glad to get Mike to finally sign my copy at Lawless last time it was on.
