I didn't understand where the MASSIVE amount of swearing that you'd surely do was?

If I'd have woke up in that hospital, then walked through that awful scene, I'd have been effing & blinding all over the shop. Wouldn't you?

Yes - This Halloween I'll be flying to Memphis, Tennessee to commence a three-week, six-gig tour of the deep south!

You could say I'm quite excited about that.

Did he turn up? Man, was last night ever a time for my internet connection to go down! Bugger.

I would have paid actual money to see a conversation between Godpleton & Wagner.

I also grew up in Manchester hating The Smiths. Then I also hated The Stone Roses & The Happy Mondays.
Life could be tough with those opinions. Lucky I'd left by the time Oasis came out because I fucking hate them too.

Bob Dylan on the other hand is fantastic. Hearts of Fire is possibly the most hilarious film I've ever seen & all his 80's albums were great! I can't understand why anyone would think otherwise.
Live...yeah I saw him when I was 15 at the NEC in 86/87 too, he was quite drunk. Since then I've been to about 30 more shows. Most great, one or two fantastic, one or two pretty bad & ONE that was hands down the best show I've ever seen by anyone!

Nice one Beaky.

I like that "Abortion is unacceptable (and) cold blooded murder...(because) EACH & EVERY LIFE is valuable & priceless"

yet we should

"Bunker-bust those Mullas back to the stoneage"

Nice.

Film Discussion / Re: DREDD reviews. (SPOILERS!)

As with any drug we use recreationally - it's used to make enjoyable things more enjoyable - try to imagine fucking on slo-mo & voila.

Anyway - just came back from the film.

Firstly - never seen a 3D film before & I never will again. Bloody useless. Hated 3D.

On the positive side, it was quite fun.

It wasn't really Judge Dredd though.

It wasn't funny.

Anderson wasn't Anderson. The name & the fact that she's Psi were the only similarities.

Lots of cool nods to the comic. That was groovy.

I'm gonna have to see it again in 2D, really.

It was good. Not great.

SBT will hate it.

The room definitely open, but I can confirm that Jared is not there & I definitely haven't spoken to him.

Just watched this on catch-up. Bloody brilliant.

Matt Smith was totally The Doctor - probably number two on my all time list. It was creepy, scary, clever & exciting. The chick was very, very hot indeed & the twist was genuinely moving.

Top-marks all round.

I was just reading Grant & Tordel's thoughts on the sense & use of time in Love & Rockets...which reminded me of this :

So, I listened to it again.

Now would be a time to do a "Hail the Goatse" - but there lies Godpleton-like oblivion.

FREE THE GODPLETON!
