After fighting with BTopenworld and nearly knackering my computer, I've finally broken through and can tell you Moly that Dungeons and Starships on Digbeth received a batch of Dredd RPGs this afternoon - a lovely hardback beasty which I'll post more about once I've read it (and calmed down from my computer woes!)  -  I'll leave you with this quote from the book though - is it a misprint? I'm not so sure!

"(Judges) can epect to fall prey to to the street crime they have pledged to PROJECT the citizenry against"!!!

Mangamax

Yeah, saw it at Expo on Sunday. Nice colour shots of some of the hardware but aside from that i couldn't see an awful lot for a non gamer Dredd fan to buy it for.
The perspective on that chairs all wrong

Actually, the JDRPG has been designed to appeal just as much to comic fans as RPGers. There are pages and pages of great new material expanding on what we already think we know about Dredd's world, as well as brand-new material sure to be appearing within future Dredd strips. It's a great buy and Mongoose are to be commended for their effort.

Not at all - I'm not a brown-noser unlike a few other authors I could mention. In fact, I've battled all the way through the production of the RPG to make it as good as possible. Those who know me respect my honest  - but not abusive - opinions, as do Mongoose publishing. I don't need the income from the books and so can I afford to be honest.

Put it this way - if I was not working for Mongoose, I would still buy the Dredd books; not for the rules, but for the extensive source material. It puts the previous Games Worskhop effort to shame.

There seems to be a resentment towards creators if they plug their own products - but if that product is genuinely good, it would be negligent not to do so. Who better than the books' authors to aspread the word about them?

Oh, and apologies for all those typos in my last e-mail. The more you try to get rid of them, the more appear...
