PRESS RELEASE

Marvel comics editors Joe Quesada, Axel Alonso and Stuart Moore have confirmed they will be attending COMICS 2002, the UK's Official Annual Comics Festival in Bristol, England over the weekend of May 31 - June
2nd 2002.

It is the first time a Marvel comics editorial team has travelled from New York to a British comics event since the late 90s and the news is causing great excitement among the British comics industry.

In recent years Marvel comics have regained their title as the world's leading comics publishers, and a large part of their recent success is attributed to their use of British comic talent.

Two of Marvel's most popular UK talents, Glasgow based writer and artist Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely whose New X-Men is currently the world's best selling comic, will be joining the Marvel editors at the
Comics 2002 Festival, alongside over 150 star guests for a three day celebration of international comic book art.

F.f.i. contact Kev F Sutherland, Festival Producer 01275 871856

Programme is published March 2002.

Er.. I thought they went bankrupt or something similar.

Then again most huge corporations operate with huge losses/debts such as BT and still keep in business so what do I know?

Not a lot obviously, you idiot.
