Also ordered. Kev Crossley's cover finally kicked my arse into gear. I know that some folk have to watch every penny, especially these days, but pricewise these are bargains.

Just ordered the latest Zarjaz and Dogbreath, plus a couple of recent Zarjazes that I missed.

All these new British comics! What a time to be alive!

You are more than welcome. I've made several trips to the post office this weekend and I'm about to start the lists for the next run!

If anyone wants to get an order in today, I'll be off to the post office next on monday lunchtime.

I've also had the go-ahead for a comp I've wanted to run for a while. Watch this space in the next few days for the chance to win something pretty swish!

We are very pleased to announce that we have a copy of the first issue of BEST OF 2000 AD - the Retailer Exclusive edition.

How do you win this copy of one of the most sought after exclusives? Simple - all you need is a copy of either Zarjaz 38 or Dogbreath 38.

To enter the competition all you need to do is identify the 38th piece of text in a strip in either issue.

Captions or spoken word - SFX do NOT count.

Note - just in case I'm not 100% clear, count each piece of text --

If a balloon is joined to present multiple pieces of text, count each one separately. Therefore there are 6 pieces of text in the example above.

Then simply email in to futurequakepress@gmail.com with the subject header of 'BO2K Competition entry' and write either the line of dialogue or caption that is the 38th in that issue.

The competition is open till midnight November 30th, so as long as your email has a timestamp within that window you are good to enter.

Finally - please note that this is not an official Rebellion competition, it is solely the responsibility of team FQP and my decision is final. Good luck all of you.

New issue of Dogbreath (no38) has just landed on my door mat, available here https://www.futurequake.co.uk/dogbreath/ l wonder who the super sexy and extremely good looking centre pages artist is 😜.

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

It's...Filippo Roncone! Superb work. I've halfway through reading the new Futurequake, and the proper authorities will be informed! Thanks to all the artists and creators of Dogbreath and FQ for making a miserable November more endurable. My Painter software is on the blink, and so misery is my only companion to misquote Werner Herzog.

You are all welcome.

Due to the current situation I'm working from home (like so many others) which means I can visit the post office most days. If any squaxx out there needs a little 'pick-me-up' then Zarjaz, Dogbreath or any of the fine FQP titles will keep the thrill suckers at bay between progs.

Oh, and if you like what Filippo is doing in Dogbreath, check the '77 -- Filiippo is one of the main letterers over there and even drew a strip in issue 3. Top work, fella.

Filippo is also illustrating and lettering a future issue of SENTINEL - a future sports story called "Monkey Magic"

Filippo is doing lettering and design on some of my stuff too - he is the fulcrum of the British small-press scene!
