Good job. I envy new fans, because you've got so much to be blown away by to come.

Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

I'm on my third or fourth read of Thomas Pynchon's Vineland. It's probably my favourite of his books, and other than Inherent Vice one of the easiest to get through.

As I read it I'm drawing on some of the pages, trying to make a Pynchon version of http://humument.com/, but it's hard going -- I keep getting distracted with other projects, and the paper stock is weirdly pen resistant.

Um, I'll do my best:

1. I but 2000AD from the newsagent, it's pretty easy to come by. Graphic Novels/Collected Editions I get from Amazon usually, as every birthday and Christmas I get given Amazon vouchers. I've also bought from the shop, here. I don't really have a preference.

2. I've never swapped comics or graphic novels, other than lending them out. Like, my Mum's got the full collection of Sandman TPB's but not in return for anything.

3. I'm no help here, with Rogue Trooper editions, sorry.

4. I've probable got about 40-ish graphic novels, if you're including collected editions. I know that pales in comparison with some of the numbers others have here.

What's the difference between the Mean Team TPB and the Extreme Edition that's still on sale in the store, anyone?

General / Anthropocalypse launch...

I've been looking forward to the collected edition of the latest Indigo Prime run since I saw it listed on Amazon last year -- anybody familiar with my Twitter timeline (which, in fairness, is probably none of you) will know that.

Quick question though -- will there be a signing event, or anything similar, near to the launch? Because I'm a massive bloody fanboy when it comes to Indigo Prime and would love to get a signed copy.

Any ideas?

Are you accepting/looking for original art based on/inspired by Dredd? I don't mean comic-style art, but artistic responses to the character/world?

haha, yep. I fully understand the 'one for the Dads' concept now. It got bad enough that I started googling whether they were married.

Thanks!

I genuinely love it that Dave Bishop, responsible for comissioning some of my favourite thrills, is now writing Nina And The Neurons. Can't explain why in so many words, maybe it was just the fact that I've enjoyed both seperately and then found out they're linked.

(You know... 'enjoy' Nina and The Neurons... my son watches it, I watch it with him, it's OK etc etc)

Oh, and Dipdap is great too.

Can I have my account fully activated as well, do you think? Please?

TBH, I despise Twitter. By its very nature, it encourages banality and actively cripples informed, well-reasoned discussion. OK, I get that that isn't what Twitter is for...

The trouble is no one seems to tell half the people who use it that's not the case. Half the things I read from twitter give me the impression that a lot of folk who use it believe you can do that in 140 characters...

mind it'd cut down on my typos!

In defence of Twitter, it is what you make it. If your Twitter feed is full of inane bullshit it's likely you're following the wrong people.
