Dan Abnett writing! Gorgeous full colour Henry Flint art! A strip that has somehow never been reprinted? Having commissioned it, let there be no surprise that this is a vote for Sancho Panzer.

Those as old as me on the forum can now imagine head-to-heads sketches as Alas Smith and Brink.

Brass Sun.

Mean Machine.

I am a massive Roger Langridge fan and Pandora Perfect is my favourite Regened thrill [to date], but Cradlegrave is a classic and takes my vote.

7
Fangs for that.

Harke and Burr. It won't win, but consider this a vote for the wonderful crooked grin of the late, great Si Spencer and the stunning painted art of Dean Ormston.

9
Unsurprisingly, I vote Fiends.

Has Storming Heaven already been in TUC?

The resizing might explain why there are no good materials for this story. The original films may have been chopped about to create the resized annual reprint, nobody realising there was not another extant version of the original available. But that's pure speculation.

Looks like the annual version has been reconfigured in-house, a job that was done by art assistants unkindly known as 'bodgers'. This was done to cut a page from an old story, or resize for a slightly different format.

ISTR doing it for a story or two in one of the Special Editions. One of the creators got in touch afterwards to express their unhappiness in having their work chopped about; I apologized and made sure that didn't happen again.
