Not listened to the podcast yet, and only ever managed to read the first issue of Outcasts (I was young and it was very expensive at the time) but I remember thinking, even back then, that this was the most 2000AD thing I'd seen 2000AD creators do for US comics.

Midnight Surfer remains one of the key texts in the Dredd canon thanks to Cam’s art. I will argue to my dying day that Mega-City One never lived and breathed in quite the same way before that story.
