Except it doesnt work as an explanation at all... the Doctor's mind had been wiped, so he wouldnt remeber these Doctors... but if he did, why didn't it spark him to remember the past lives and investigate them at teh time? Fan service, but raising more questions than it superficially answers

Given that the Doctor nearly died in that scene and had to be revived using the Elixir of Life, it could be reasonable to assume that his brain didn't remember such a traumatic event (esp. if it had previously been subjected to tampering).

As for use and abuse of data, one of the pushes in Maths is to cover the ways in which graphs and statistics can be misleading alongside interpretation.  There is quite a bit now in the GCSE around what graphs can and can't tell you for instance but a lot of that work has already started much earlier.  The same goes with probability.

The RI Christmas Lectures covered a lot of that this year: https://www.rigb.org/christmas-lectures/watch/2019/secrets-and-lies

"Hi! My name's Gordon Rennie, and I like screwing with collectors of 2000 AD trade paperbacks, by entertainingly hurling a single-episode epilogue out there after the final trade of a series is on sale!"

*sobs*

Unless of course it's a prologue for a new story...

In election news, Labour is going to put Yer Dad on Twitter, which as long term plans go is up there with that guy in Jurassic World who told scientists to make a dinosaur that can turn invisible and use machine guns.

I'm holding out - I reckon we can get Labour to throw in a free PS4 and a puppy if we keep threatening to vote Conservative.

I just laze in bed on Saturday morning until the letterbox goes, then grab the prog, make a cup of coffee and go back to bed and read it :)

Unless the prog doesn't arrive, in which case it's just not worth getting out of bed anyway...

Whoops, looks like something went wrong.

...is what I get from the shop. I'm only interested in five out of the bundle, might just have to buy from a real shop  :o

I wonder if Rebellion will get them into Asda etc?

It did seem to be down earlier, but appears to be working for me now.

1995 - 1999 - WTF are they doing???

1995-1999 is the embarrasing teenage years that we'd all rather forget...

Reyn Ouwehand did a great version of that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjildCmknCE

For all history buffs and people out there watch Chernobyl.  This is great 5 part mini-series on the what and how of the nuclear disaster. This was the bullet or the event that started the fall of Soviet Union.

Yes, it's amazing. There's also an accompanying podcast (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUeHPCYtWYQ , but also available from other podcast places)

I particularly remember Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies on the Commodore Amiga being absolutely fantastic.

Yes, they were great. The Pro-pinball series was very good as well.

Looks like the same artist as the Novels, which is Lisa Henke.
