You know what I didn't hate this.

This strip seems to get a hard time and I can kinda see why, but I quite enjoyed it. Its a bit like 'Legend of Shamana' in that its faults are there for all to see and yet somehow I found it very readable. I think its biggest problem, well there's actually two of them.  Firstly the characters fall a bit flat. I don't particularly like the good guys and I don't really hate the bad guys. Everyone is just kinda there and doing their thing which reduces a tension a heap.

Secondly its like there were a gazillion ideas floating around in Ian Edginton's head and he couldn't quite filter them down so he threw them all in and it made it a bit of a jumble with plot holes you could pass... well Detonator X through.

And yet it was good fun. Steve Yeowell art, even when coloured goes a long way to making anything better and more enjoyable.
