Amazing work all.
Here's Locust's El Bigote along with Undead Dredd, bringing the law to undead Mexico.

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

Look what just came back from the framing shop (signed by Alex Garland, John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra).

A quick for fun project I've been working on the last couple of nights.
Star Destroyer model built in Maya in just over an hour, then the starfield, planet and lighting all painted in Photoshop. I used blueprints to get the scale and dimensions spot on in Maya and a reference pic to base the shot on and get a screen authentic look.

Wish I could get my level artists to work that quickly.

Looks really convincing. How did you create the detail so fast?

Cpt Rhodes

The detailing is just grabs from close ups of the physical model and the hull is the same but made to work as a tiling texture.
It's a rough and ready model and doesn't hold up to close scrutiny, but as a quick 3D guide for painting over it's fit for purpose.

Awesome work everyone. Great to see some of your process there, Alex. Here's the Dark Knight, for a facebook artgroup I frequent.

Thought I'd share my latest project so far. It's a follow up to my pixel art London. There's no way I could do the whole of Mega City One (in my spare time at least) so I settled for a cutaway of two blocks engaged in a bit of block war.

No cits yet - just a lonely judge.
Hopefully I'll have it finished by the end of the month.

wow! look at all the variety of art on this page it's just fab.
