Could easily give MAD MAX  a run for it's money. Great angle and action packed mayhem!

Blimey Jon, incredible. I saw your 3D mock-up of this on Facebook. What program did you use for that? (the 3D bit....!) ;)

Thanks Darren.

That was done in 3D Studio Max (2013, I think). I can't always be arsed, but I think when you know what the scene is, more or less, but want to play around with the composition a bit it's a worthwhile few hours spent.

I hesitated to put this on here and not the doodle thread because I copied McMahon's The Fink so you can't really say it's art but it took me ages, so here it is. I started out thinking, I'll just copy this how hard can it be, then went wrong within minutes because I have no idea about anatomy and composition and couldn't get it back on track. Hence the too big head.

Brilliant stuff all round chaps.
Particularly the colouring job on Rocket and Groot. Really nice

Thank you Woolly! Still getting to grips with Manga studio 5 ex. The colouring tools are quite close to being excellent, but Painter is still my numero uno.  :D

I need to get over my block and start practicing again...

An older piece which I was asked to "Cthulhu up". So I did.

Fungus

I don't know what that means but your pic is the finest thing I've seen on this thread. Wow.

I think it means add more Cthulhu (it was a mere Kraken before - I think the previous incarnation of this image is somewhere buried way earlier in this thread). So, anyway, I added more Cthulhu.

Thank you, that's very kind.

Ooh! ...I like that Cthulhu! Very nice.
