Well that was just class. The whole story was blistering but the full prog episode was really superb. It allowed the strip run to expand to its fullest and Abnett created a story that exploited that fact. It had a real sense of timing and drama and the desperate flight of Demi and Finnegan had room to generate real tension.
I really wish I'd read this back in the day as I suspect that this brilliantly crafted chapter of Sinister Dexter would have felt all the more powerful. The epilogue was really well done and the emotional impact of the tale really hit home. I'm wondering whether people who read it as it happened thought that it really was the end of Sinister Dexter???
