I've managed to scan the cover,but I'm not too sure how to upload the pic here.

First off, welcome!

Second: to upload an image, use an image host. I suggest imgur: http://imgur.com/ Just drag and drop the image (or images) and hit upload, then copy and paste the link(s) you're given. There's one formatted for message boards, so all you need to do is paste that into your message and you're all set.

Looking forward to seeing the pics - thanks for the heads-up!
