Bah, these people just don't know their cryptozoology - they didn't mean zombies, previously living organisms that have died and since returned to a semblance of life or animation for whatever reason; they were thinking of ghouls, sub-species of creatures that subsit almost totally on the dead flesh of other creatures - carrion eaters.

Even more basically put, zombies are the re-animated dead; ghouls are eaters of the dead.

Tsk, and with Halloween coming up as well. They should be ashamed.

Sure, Walter's effeminate and soft, but Dennis is the one who just won't leave the kid alone - and spends 90% of his life just following Walter about and pranking him. It's the equivalent of a girl who fancies a boy in the playground pulling his hair and tripping him up all day (or vice versa).

Think about it.

Hey, and they could have a shock twist when the Daleks, thought destroyed, could return out of the blue - again!
And then they have to obliterate every last trace of them for all time to stop them ever coming back - again!

Until they return next time, anyway. :(

LEAVE THEM ALONE!!

Always thought they should do a UNIT spin-off, and this seems like a pretty good time to do it, what with the sudden re-appreciation of Who.

Surely that 'Aaarrghh!' should be an 'Aieeeee!'

Much more in keeping, frankly.

Drool, drool, drool.

The only thing that could make that better is if I was in it. :)

Oh yeah, and less 'WARRIOR!!!' stuff. But otherwise, I refer you back to the start of my post.

Books & Comics / Re: ABC Warriors / Nemesis...
13 October, 2005, 07:20:06 PM
The only true stand-alone ABC GN is the first one, The Mekinificent Seven, which took place before the ABCs were tied into Nemesis' continuity.

After a while in the wilderness, their next appearance was in Nemesis Book 3, and this is where the two sagas first properly link, with the re-appearance of Mek-quake from Ro-busters.

In Nemesis Book 4 (The Gothic Empire) Ro-jaws, Hammerstein and others appear, and this is where the ABC warriors re-form, joined by Mek-quake and Nemesis. They're a singificant part of both this Book and Book 5, and at the end of Book 5 they go off on a mision for Nemesis, which is the Black Hole GN and the ABC's second proper series.

Aside from a one-off where they meet briefly Nemesis again, all the other ABCs adventures take place after Black Hole (Kronicles of Khaos, Hell-bringer, Return to Mars, etc) and largely ignore any further Nemesis continuity references - so it's only really the gap between ABCs book 1 and 2 that is affected by the cross-over.

Hope my rambling helps!

Babe Race 2000? I bought an issue of tooth once when I was about nine (either becuase it had boobs or a skull on the cover, that was the only time i would ever deviate from my 'Ghostbusters' comic subscription) and it had an episode of that 'thrill' in it.

It made me sick. No, really.
