Nothing really wrong with Carver Hale (although I'm not a fan of the Cockney/Gangster story setting); basically everything is right with Kingdom.

 Kingdom, by a mile. But as for Carver Hale- I echo that said upthread, that it needed longer to bed in. It was basically Hellblazer with a bit of Bill Savage thrown in and a dash of Lock Stock, but for all that, I liked it enough to buy the hardback when I saw it for a fiver in a charity shop.

Well this one was utterly straightforward. BUT Kingdom got neither a shut out nor into the 20+ club so none of the markers of a contender? Surely though this most 2000ad of thrills will do well in this tourbey, draw willing? Carver Hale was fun but a little derviative, without offering quite enough of the 2000ad twist and loses to
