It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, thrills in every store! Oooooooh, it's here, the highlight of the year, welcome to the eighth 2000AD Advent Calendar 2017!!!

Last year, we kept this thread comment free and full of juicy Christmas Thrillpower so I'll start a new thread for comments here: The Comments thread!

Right! December 1st and this year, in the spirit of Band Aid, Armand Assante and I decided to record a Charity Single. The charity is the dear old forgotten perps of Mega City One. "Forgotten?" I hear you ask? See, in the last two years, the perps haven't really had a look in in the Dredd strip thanks to the sheer number of stories featuring foreign, bent, secret and/or ridiculous invisible judges in Mega City One.

It's a problem! Hidden judges are in the walls of the halls, in a frigging cupboard in Hershey's office and there was even a whole sector of the buggers that no one had a clue about! It's insane! On top of this, the last two years have seen trouble with Sov Judges, Texas Judges, Irish Judges, Brit Cit Judges, Mechanismo Judges, Judge Cal(s), Judge Fish, SJS Judge Pin, Accountancy Judges(!) Titan Judges & Eldster Judges! Sheesh!

Armand and I felt really sorry for the poor perps of MC1 who aren't getting ANY action at the minute so all Creds raised from this single go to them. Apologies for Armand's singing, he's a little out of time on occasion, as I kept telling him, "We can't ALL have the voice of an angel..."

You'll see the video here:

Thanks in advance to everybody who signed up to the calendar, I can't wait to see what you come up with! Also, a massive thanks to all the folks who've contributed to the board this year, you all make my day, even the ones who have tantrums over my art comp entries! Real life means I can't get on here as often as I'd like but I do try and catch up at least once a day.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND GRUD BLESS US EVERYONE!

Also, here's my back catalogue of shite 2000AD Christmas films - absolutely dire!

Christmas is not Dredd's favourite time of the year; even less when it involves being on patrol in Alien Town.

However, Justice Dept. felt that one of the resulting Spy-in-the-sky images was perfect for a fronting a seasonal audio collection to get the cits in the festive spirit.

Happy Christmas, juves, eldsters, perps and futsies of the board!  Splundig Ho Ho!

"Gaze Into The Fist Of Dredd!"
Yup, that's probably my all time favourite story from 40 years of 2000ad as well!
Cheers, Eamonn - great to hear what the favourites are among the creators, and what an excellent raffle prize - I've sent a few donations myself so fingers crossed. Many thanks! :)

Happy Christmas, folks..!
First one from me today - see you for another one around dawn... ;)

Andy Lambert

Morning!
As promised, here's another festive treat as I put my 3A Dredd to good use. There are 10 differences to look for so have fun with it - answers provided on Sunday!
I'm not done yet - I'll be back again later today...

Andy Lambert

I was approached by Dash Decent who told me of an image he had in his mind of Rogue Trooper sharing a Christmas cracker with Bagman - he asked if I was interested in having a go at it, so here it is...
Hope the picture does your idea justice, Mr Decent...

Andy Lambert

"When I grow up I want to be an art droid for the Mighty One..."

I think Patrick Stewart makes a decent Tharg, myself  :D

Last one from me until the 20th. Happy Christmas!

Ho Ho Ho, Squaxx!

As is usual we at Zarjaz have been toiling away to bring you fleshbags something to read over the holidays!

Today I'm hijacking poor Jim Campbells day in order to bring you the first installment in a 4 part Ro-Jaws Robo-Tale.

Thanks to RoboMonkey147 for the hard work here!

The follow-up episodes will all be joining this one over on the Daily Zarjaz Thread!
