Uhhh while we're waiting for whatever is being touted elsewhere there's some genuinely exciting news just been annouced at Wondercon. Mark Waid and Chris Samnee are doing a Rocketeer series. The only downer being its a 4 issues mini only, so not sure whether it might be worth waiting for the trade?

Either way I'm a fan of Waid at the best of time and his recent work on Daredevil has made this seem a perfect fit, can't wait.

Just released, its obvious Sam Slade is finally reaching Paris. Grant Goggins will be so pleased.

I'm certainly no expert and there are folk on this board who know much more about this type of thing. This website might be of use though.

http://www.comicartfans.com/

It has a community of people dedicated to original comic art and they might be able to advise in a less partisan why than you'd get here?

If nowt else its bloody fun play to visit and get all jealous!

And I've just realised its another thread that has the famous links thingie.

On which note I retreat quietly to the corner of the room wearing only my dunces hat and the sad look of shame.

and those Midnight Cowboys definitely look like some kind of dino-hume crossbreed.

Damn I can't believe I didn't think of this before. I wonder if dino/cowboys are related to this fella in any way?

QuoteAnd just remembered the best one I have, mates older brother is Peter Sutcliffe

Winner!

I once delivered a parcel to a Michael Caine. See, Colin, you actually can get more tentative than that.

Damn it... okay

I once went to Worthy Farm and stood by the door while my mate delivered a box of wine to Michael Eavis.

I was in two minds whether or not to post this, as it may well just stir up bad feeling again, (just look at the comments on Bleeding Cool just after some snippets of it appeared there) BUT having read only the first couple of pages there's no denying its very interesting, so what the heck.

http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/03/13/if-dc-want-to-soil-themselves-in-public-and-kill-the-reputations-of-a-number-of-otherwise-possibly-halfway-decent-writers-and-artists-then-im-certainly-not-going-to-stop-them-and-i-shall-take/

Alan Moore has opinions, the Internet argues... most it always be so?

Welcome aboard - as for whether its worth getting the back issues, probably not the best place to get an impartial response, but HELL YEAH.

Have fun.

Out of interest what do you think you've learnt so far? About a third of the way through is it reaching your goals and are you still feelin' the love for it?

Questions, questions, questions.

More importantly still one of my favourite art type blogs. A real treat when I get off my bum (or more to the case stay on it) and visit.
