I'm looking for the title of an old black and white film that features medieval knights that turn out to be ghosts at the end of the film. All i remember about the film is it was quite dark and eerie and had lots of rolling fog.There was two knights talking in a graveyard/battlefied.At the end of the film the two armies of dead knights rise up and fight.At a guess the film was made in the 30's or 40's. I've tried IMDB (no luck). I'm sure the film was mentioned once by a 2000AD writer/artist in an interview.
It's driving me nuts!!! p.s it's not the seventh seal. please help!!!!

Thanks for the tip on the pictures. Yellow bags due to years of smoking "Cough". It's also how I date my books. I have a chart of various shades of yellow and by refering to this chart I can tell what year the book was bought in.
 Is there anything nicer than sitting down with a graphic novel, cup of tea and a big fat doobie? If there is let me know.

I saw the pictures on this thread and was compelled to take a photo of my shelf.I'm about to decorate so I'll be packing away all the stuff .I've called it "Shelf Harm".
A really interesting thread but I want to see more!! keep them coming.
