Was just looking at adverts for the forthcoming Dredd Case Files 25 and saw that one says it will feature Progs 984-1007, whilst this Rebellion's own shop lists it as 984-1028. Wondered if anyone could clarify? (Also, whichever is correct, the input from the Megs looks a bit sparse - only 3.16-3.18)

Yeah, it's all a bit weird. The Meg stuff looks to be 3.16-3.19 - sparse, as you say, but that runs up to the start of the six-episode America II, so you can see why they made the split where they did. (That story's immediately followed by the 85-page Fetish, incidentally, so we already know what a big chunk of Case Files 26 is going to be)!

No idea what's happening with the prog stuff, though. The solicitation/blurb that most sites are using for their pre-orders mentions Death of a Legend (prog 1009), Trevor Hairsine (1012-1013) and Henry Flint (1014-1016) - suggesting that we run up to prog 1016 at least. The very next story is Darkside, which runs to 1028 but would add another 72 pages to the book, so it seems unlikely that wasn't held over for CF26. But the placeholder cover that's doing the rounds says prog 1007, and the creator list backs that up (no John Smith, no Hairsine, no Flint) - which would make the volume a relatively slim 200 or so pages!

I, Cosh

Placeholder is the key word there, though.

Assuming neither Fading of the Light nor Dredd vs Predator (six months worth of Meg Dredd there) are going to be included in the Case Files, there will have to be two or three volumes skewed more heavily towards the Progs just to make sure they're in sync for Doomsday

The Case Files are currently battling through a fairly ropey period for the Megazine, so that's no bad thing, to be honest. From 3.34 onwards they were all written by Wagner (with two Alan Grant fill-ins) right up to Doomsday, though, so there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Liking the look of Dreams of Deadworld a lot!

Dave Kendall's work is some of the most disturbing I've seen since Dave Mckeans... I love it!

Here's Death, minus eyeballs... brrr...

Toughest of them all is Judge Dredd - he is the law and these are his stories...

After a pack of vicious Dune Sharks attack Mega-City One, Judge Dredd sets out into the Cursed Earth with a group of cadets, intent on finding where the alien fish fiends have come from, so he can wipe them out once and for all! Ooooh, nice! (....and just seen the release date; February next year. Bugger.)

But as a non-Meg reader, I've been keen to read this strip. A relatively slim volume at less than a hundred pages, but an essential purchase, methinks.
