Thanks chums. Sad to say I've fallen way behind with my 2000ad reading since Wagner took an extended hiatus from Dredd and Nikolai Dante ended.

So are we looking at America IV there?

I really hope 'Total War Are Back' is the actual title of the story.

They ARE included.

I wanted to include them in my Preview but can only include the first 6 pages in any Preview. In this case that would include one half of a double-spread so I stuck to 5...

I then FORGOT to say in my Preview that the posters are there.

Slight cheeky note - I don't suppose any of the Quality reprint covers are/will be included?  Or indeed those great DD annual covers?  And perhaps the 2000AD 1978 annual cover - that is DD, after all.

The US Tv series you mention - is that Buck Rogers in the Twentieth Century? Because that was based on a novella & comic strip published in the twenties, which does indeed pre-date publication of the DD strip.

We are scarily close to 'prog 2000' right now. ISTR Molcher saying they had already figured out what they were going to do re: naming/issue number etc.

I'm going to just put this out there... my guess is that the issue after prog 1999 will be....
