Bolt-01

Don't know, but I've always liked his stuff.

The Punisher killed him at the end of "Welcome Back, Frank".

Oh, wait...
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

He's still doing comics, G.I. Joe being the most recent I'm aware of.

I'm a huge fan of Redondo and would love to see him grace the pages of 2k again.

Dig L commissioned him to do a Missionary Man a coulpa years back. Sadly not quite as Zarjaz as some of his older work, but a fine under rated artist. There's so many under rated artists, Ron Smith immediately springs to mind as a man deserving of kudos (if thats how you spellit, maybe he deserves kimonos?)

ARRISARRIS

...i remember that strip, looked very 'old skool' as they say nowadays, probably not the right strip for him. I loved his Return to Armageddon and Monster (Scream) strips. He should be drawing something like...  Bec & kawl...

Indeed, while all the talk was of Bolland or McMahon, old Ron used to pop strip after strip of Great work every time.

Ah, like a moth to a flame I can't resist praising Ron Smith. Brilliant artist. Just lovely stuff. I reckon Otto Sump owes a lot of his popularity as a character to the gorgeously ugly art of Rom Smith.

Marbles

The Ronster was a genius. His Dredds were some of the best.
Remember - dry hair is for squids

Dunk!

Joining those at the flame I have to reiterate my love of Ron Smith's Dredd work.

The end of the Judge Child Quest still sends a shiver down my spine today. Class.

And like a can of insect repellant to a moth I can't resist saying that RON SMITH SUCKED!!!

On the Redondo side, he was great! I think the Missmashman story might have suffered (if it suffered at all!) from the glossyness of the print quality these days, very *black* ink, very *white* paper, lost the roughness of the old bogroll print which IMO actually complimented Redondo's style perfectly.

You funking Volg. Gertcha.

If ever there's a MACH 1 Extreme Edition make sure the Redondo ones are in there.

But look at http://www.2000adonline.com/?zone=droid&page=profiles&choice=JESUS>Redondo?s art reprinted in Death To All Aliens

on lovely glossy paper and his art looks great, especially on the episodes with the spiders.

Okay so maybe it's nothing to do with the paper... he might be just slightly less good then he used to be - either way his work is still great.
