defoe...zombies...anyone else loving this?

It's a bit too early for me to tell yet (I wasn't that impressed by the first episode,but it is an introduction, so never mind), but I definitely like the idea of it. Zombie fighting in a period setting- nice.

I just hope the story has a, well, story. I hope it isn't just a guy shooting and slashing zombies each episode.

I read it once, wasn't sure... read it again little later and thought it was a pretty good read.  Based on one episode, no great test I agree, I prefer it to Greysuit.

Defoe seems utterly lacking in compassion at the moment.  Maybe he's seen too much, maybe he just has God big style.

Like the art, it's scratchy pen and ink, something different.

Defoe reminded me of a cross between Torquemada and a character he did called The Redeemer for Games Workshop.
