I was a bit miffed at having also missed the first part of a teenage lesbian drama on Channel 4 set in my home town of Brighton, but I subsequently discovered it was based on a novel by Julie bloody Burchil, so I'm probably not missing much.

I saw the first ten minutes of Sugar Rush.  It is truly awful - real car crash television.  Maybe we're past the stage where declaring "LOOK! YOUNG GAY PEOPLE!" can be considered the only point of a TV programme?

In which case, Alan Barnes may want to reconsider the planned giant free giveaway poster of Judge Gordon...
