Modern Spider-Man help!

I'll back those suggesting ultimate spider-man. It is a lovely reinterpretation of Spider-man, with excellent writing and lovely Mark Bailey art.

Recently I've been reading about Dan Slott's near decade run on Spidey, which, by most accounts is excellent and I've a few volumes of that in my Comixology basket waiting for a sale.
