General / Questions for PJ Holden
05 January, 2011, 07:05:02 PM
Hi all, Iz and I are hoping to interview PJ for the Megacast and wondered if any of you lovely buggers had any burning questions you wanted/needed/will give us money  to ask?

NB I'm not asking him a)where he keeps his Lucky Charms or his pot of gold or b)about his relationship with Leigh Gallagher - what goes one between consenting adults in private should stay private!

Film & TV / Twin Peaks Gold
22 November, 2010, 09:18:55 PM
Am I the only geek in the world not to be aware of the new Twin Peaks box set containing the second series?!

I would really like this but it bugs me as I already have teh season one boxset. I hate it when they do stuff like this. Like when I already bought series 1&2 of Spaced then they brought out a box set with extras. The completist in me wants everything - but I can't afford to buy everything.

I would really really like this though. Was anyone else a fan?

General / After The Pit
09 December, 2009, 03:19:59 PM
I just re-read The Pit and thoroughly enjoyed it all over again, if not moreso.  I'm sure I remember one of you lovely guys telling me there was a follow up or another story bout DeMarco and Guthrie and co and I can't find the thread. Can someone point me in the right direction.  I want to hang out with those guys a bit more!

General / Wagner love
26 October, 2009, 12:07:23 AM
I know how late I am to the party, I really do. But I'm just seeing it first hand for the first time, sure I have read past arcs all together in trades and they're awesome, but to read a new Dredd/Wagner arc "live" as it were, week by week living it. Oh My God, I can barely wait for the next prog, I get it now, I really do. And I am so excited about it, I am boring people innit great? ;D

One of the girls on the SFX forum just posted this thought I'd post it up here too!

"Pat Mills is coming to Watford to talk about his work. I have put my name down for a ticket (£3!) but I was the first one so I said I'd spread the word.

Watford is insanely easy to get to from London, please come!

Watford Library 01923 471333 for enquiries."

Books & Comics / Thicker Than Water - Mike Carey
15 March, 2009, 12:10:03 PM
I've just finished reading book four in the Felix Castor series by Mike Carey.  I absolutely love these books, I love the main character who is quite Constantiney, they are filled with action and dark humour and I raced through this.  How can you not love a book which has the line in it "Get your hands out of my pants you God bothering bastard!"  Anyone else a fan?
