Thanks folks, I'm so glad I picked up that Gibson page when I did, I do recall there were a few of the Ezquerra sketches available at the same time (I think I've still got the AAAAGH gallery ad sheet with them on along with a few by Mr Bolland).

I really like this page but it's a wallet drainer right now ;)

That Gibson page is fantastic. Kirby dots!

I'm out the game while my son is away at uni. There was a Leo Baxendale DPS page at the same place recently, nearly killed me not to buy it.

They do offer small-ish discounts if you ask nicely....
But yes, ive often stopped by there, and drooled over a particular page. Im guessing the bulk of the money raised goes direct to Carlos for these?

Yes! I asked Arthur Ransom about this and they sell on behalf of the artists.

Was he selling his Swallows and Amazons art?

;)

Arthur Ranson must have one of the mis-spelt names in all of comicdom.  Don't get me started on Flint Henry though...

If only the 'm' and 'n' weren't next to each other on the bloody keyboard stupid mistakes like that could be avoided!

It's a joke. I was joking.

Thanks for the heads up on the possible discount, I'll keep that in mind when that purchasing urge comes calling again  ;)

Oh dear...going out on a limb here. This is not 2000AD art, so please accept my apologies for butting in here - but since it's for a good cause and since you're all collectors of original work, well, I hope you don't mind the interruption - See, the picture below can be won for the price of a raffle ticket....

I submitted an ink drawing to the charity raffle (linked below) and the money will go to Acorns Children's Hospice...

The artwork is large, slightly bigger than A3, and is inked right to the edges. It's one of my drawings for the new Judge Dredd Gamebook from Tinman Games, so it will appear in the game in some form...anyway, it's for a good cause and you can buy a raffle ticket from anywhere.

Raffle details...

Yeah, I really like that.  Very simple, very effective - very nice!

Thanks Ming. Thanks Skullmo. It's going in the post to Birmingham tomorrow morn.

I must say, looking back on the thread at those McMahon Slaine pages...they just get better with every passing year. Unbelievable.

Do you do everything you're told?  In that case, please send this to me.  NOW.

Ian Kennedy's a legend; beautiful art from a very memorable story.
