>and I stand by my assertion that people who can't think of a reason to include the words "and the American Way" at the end of the words "truth, justice" shouldn't be writing a Superman story.

I don't think the words "the american way" have the same meaning they once had for the world anymore.

The whole return to Krypton scene was cut out, won't be released as a deleted scene on dvd either & actually cost $10 million to shoot.

**Dredd is a particular problem - when Joe himself is so popular as a character with us lifers, it's always hard to argue that it's the "satire of a police state / crazy modern world" angle that is an important part of the strip's appeal.***

yeah, that and the fact we all have an inprinted admiration and respect for him our pretend grown up, P.C. selves needs to make up an excuse for being there in the first place.

It's not as big as Ezquerra draws it.

Well at least now they won't view you as a gay comic geek after having that Kingsley brothers pic up on screen.

"Twilight of the Superheroes" Mega-epic by Alan Moore.

The story of the END of the DC universe. The outline, which is about 40 pages in length, is available on the webatron and contains just about every DC character and some pre DC ones too.

Moore was supposed to write it after Watchmen but DC rejected it because of Moore's unsavoury treatment of their "hallowed" characters.
