Sounds like a fun idea...

I doubt I'll make it though.

As a Play Dredd member, I both play in and run games there, it us the best forum gaming I've been involved in for years. Not since 2001 have I been as excited about rpg in written form.

I don't play this kind of game much. But if it was 2000AD related I'd be tempted. A game set in Dredd would get more of my interest. A game in Cursed Earth would get lots of my interest.

Ah, I didn't realise that they sell in that way.  I was envisaging a figure in a hobby store behind the tills retailing at £150.00.

These are extreme limited edition buy em whil you can.  OK yeah they need to sell less but they need to sell at a higher price to make a profit that pays for the long hours of designing, prototypes and such sans the mass sales at lower prioces.

So they need less customers.  They don't need cheapskates like me because there are collectors already.

Now the whole deal makes sense.

Seriously $250.00??  That is over £150.00.  Kinda expensive.

I wouldn't have bought many but might have treated myself to one or two.  Sadly out of my price range for an action figure.

Is there really a big market for them?  I know loads of people who are a fan of such and such film, or that TV series or the other book that might spend £150.00 on a rare signed copy of whatever it is - VHS, DVD, Book , Comic, etc.  But I don't know many that will spend more than £10 or £20 on a comic based on their favourite TV show or an action figure of their favourite book character, etc.

I'm sure they are great and I'll drool over one or two.  Also sure those that buy will enjoy.  I am just surprised there is a market big enough to make it viable.

I had difficulty on the very same level...  It was the toughest by far from my point of view.

I thought the game was brilliant and the Wii controlers gave me no hassle.  I loved throwing grenades.

All in all it is a good storyline.  Loyal as a game that length can be to the source material.  Shame there was no multiplayer playability for the missions.  Online multiplayer version of this would be great.
