questions on wall papers
how come on my brand new lovely lovely lovely,laptop does the wonderful wall papers contained on this very site look bloody awful?
on my desk top which runs xp look outstanding. but on my laptop which runs vista premiem they look like i drew them?

also why no spell check on this when i use it?

I'd hazard a guess that your laptop is scaling them - on LCD screens you really want them to be at the native resolution.

So if you find out what that is (probably right click on the desktop and get the control panel for the screen up), then you need to resize the wallpaper in Photoshop or something similar, save it  out as a new one and use that.
