Web hosting company?

Hive mind - do you know of a web hosting company that you would recommend (to include such things as handling the purchase of a domain, plus reasonably priced, plus some kind of server-side scripting support, database kit et al)?

i use a company called titaninternet for all my webhosting needs. it costs £50pa for hosting with ASP.NET framework and support, with SQL Server etc connectivity available also

i host 15+ sites with them, and the support is first-rate (i was with fasthosts for a while, but their support was awful and non-responsive)

I use 1&1 for my hosting. Never had a problem with them so far. In fact, when my credit card expired, they held the domain open for me for about a week after it expired while I got my act together & updated my card details. Nice.
