as you lot seem to be pretty well clued up on the best places to buy and send DVD's on the web, i have a request...

where's the best place to buy them and send (cheaply) to New Zealand

Try googling for a site in New Zeland.

try froogle or dealtime.co.uk or kelkoo.co.uk (or look yourself at play.com, dvd.co.uk, cd-wow.co.uk, sendit.com, etc.) They are usually very similar but sometimes the difference in price is worth shopping around for.  The first three are search engines which do a check on a few sites and come back with their prices.

i buy form a seller VIA HONG KONG.
which is a very good service.

the postage is a flat rate and he sells CHINA versions of the series.

i have star trek DS9 and NG the full sets. i paid with postage about 190 USD i think or there about.
i had one bad disc in both sets which is not bad out of over 98 discs.

they are excalty the same as the western versions.
you need a multi region DVD player for them.
but overall i am very pleased with the standard.
he has a good range of sci-fi stuff, babylon 5 farscape and so on.

i intend to get UFO next month from him.

as for selling i find that EBAY is very reasonable for such things. but you are up against some very organsized players.
