Just a quick update.

Helmet has been cast and a (I think it's PU Rubber, same as the Minty shoulder pads) version has been made.

So it's solid, but has a bit of flex in the cheek guards so we can keep it snug, but still keep it as a one-piece.

It's been painted up and texture, and we're putting all the costumes together - not going to show anything until we do a proper shoot, but I'm very happy with the look so far.

I forgot to mention.

We've now found someone for this part.

We had great response and managed to whittle it down to 3 candidates, who then produced video auditions, and we asked John Wagner to give the casting vote. Which he kindly did.

It's only a fleeting appearance of the character, but it should be fun.

Got S/D on my mind at the moment...

Earlier today I was looking at potential gear for my costume build I'm doing once/if Planet Replicas sell the Badge ;). I have quite a few plans for my S/D original build and hopefully it'll be lots better than my first one at Thought Bubble in 2012.

We had our first proper costume test yesterday.

Things need weathering, but very happy so far.

Not sure when we'll release pictures yet bearing in mind they tend to hang around, so want to get them right.

Plus as soon as you do you'll get bomarded with Qs about when the film will be out... Not to mention where to buy a not for profit film.

and why aren't we getting a sequel?

Steve Green

I'm waiting for someone to suggest doing Judgement Day on a fan film budget.

It's when they suggest you do The Judge Child Quest that you really have to worry.

I will assume this is an official announcement that the Minty & S/D sequel to the Minty & S/D solos is a Minty & S/D team up similar to Judgement Day. Maybe it is Minty & Wulf in the Cursed Earth during the situation. Yeah, that must be it.

We managed to take a few photos on our costume test day, so we thought we would work up a couple of shots.

They also give us an opportunity to properly introduce our lead actors.

We are delighted to say that actor Matthew Simpson has kindly agreed to play the part of Johnny Alpha in our film.
