Can't believe I'm the first to spot this! Following their Marvel Graphic Novel collections Hachette's latest partwork collection is Judge Dredd - The Graphic Novel Collection. Begins with America for £2.99, usual price £9.99. And no, it's not April 1st!
The website for more info is http://www.judgedreddcollection.com

Whatever happened to Rico, Dolman and Cadet Paris? I'm sooo out of the loop.

Blimey - looks great but will no doubt cost a lot!

Good reason to cancel my Marvel Heroes subs. Odd choice of spine picture though.

Looking at the subscriber incentives- Is that a replica of the Termight Dredd Badge?

Wow I am in (at least for the 1st couple!) will see how it pans out after that as I do already own quite a few of these other as originals or via Case Files etc so will have to see if I can justify the cost on an ongoing basis. Very nice design though on these!

They do look extremely nice and from having been collecting the Marvel Graphic Novel partwork, I can certainly say the books are very sturdy, hard wearing and have quality paper and reproduction.
The fact that Hachette have added a secondary collection (labeled in roman numerals rather than numbers) before the first Marvel collection was complete, without informing subscribers, to drag you into getting them for another 3 odd years is a bit naughty.....just a warning!
Impressed to see this though and can only attest to the increasing popularity of our favourite law jockey.

Nice covers—very striking; interesting to have extra content; truly bizarre spine image that has bugger-all to do with Dredd and would be better suited to 2000 AD: the zarjaz collection (or something). Still, nice to see Dredd getting his own collection; grud knows how far it'll get. (It'd also be great to see, like with the Marvel one, what's coming up.)

So in terms of costs, it looks like 20 quid per month, which gets you two books, but they're also hardbacks. I imagine some of the longer arcs will be split over a bunch of separate books. Still, there's this:

"You are free to cancel your subscription at any time. You will be able to keep your free gifts and you will not owe any money for goods not yet delivered."

Unusual for a subscription.

Damn, that looks so bloody tempting, but it'll be £593 by the time it is done.

Anyone nipping down to their local thrill merchants to pick up a copy make sure you take a big bag - it's on one of those bloody huge sheets of cardboard! The introductory leaflet that comes with it folds out into a larger version of the Bolland Meg birthday poster and there's a survey to complete that gets you an extra free gift if you send it straight back.

Hoping this does well enough for a Classic 2000ad stories from other characters as well. That could last for years!
...because I hate you.

Is this out already?

£9.99 a fortnight though prices me out. One a month I would buckle.
