T4: ZERO TO HERO 1/7 01:00 Brand new series Zero to Hero gives comic book fans the chance to put their superhero fantasies to the test. Every week two comic book devotees compete to create, and then transform themselves into, their very own superhero, using just their imagination and a pile of junk. With the help of two practically-minded mates and an in-house engineer, the contestants have just one day and a pile of household junk to build the equipment they need to take on this spectacular challenge. And, just as importantly, they work with leading comic book illustrator Staz Johnson and costume designer Venetia Ercolani to create their new superhero's look. Once the characters are born, they are set an ultimate superhero test, while super-villain Nemesis attempts to foil their efforts. First up are 25-year-old Manchester bar steward Daz and 30-year-old illustrator Bob. Their challenge is to scale a sheer eight-metre metal wall, while under attack from evil Nemesis, and to do it in style. Bob and Daz attempt to transform themselves into Would-He-Could-He-Can-He-Man and Mega-Uppa-Wall-Atron, while Daz's mate Paul cuts through the wrong cables and struggles with a toaster. But what if Mega-Uppa-Wall-Atron's batteries fail? And will Would-He-Could-He-Can-He-Man be vanquished by an old sock? Find out on Zero to Hero.
