Are the hardcover editions limited in the same way the Heresies collections were or will they print all pre orders no matter what?

Prog / Re: Prog 2189 - Hunger Strike

I have to agree with the Dredd comments too. The first episode I thought had a lot of promise (although I wasn't too enamoured with the crossover). But as it's gone on it's the lack of character. I find it very hard to care when people are just speaking in soundbites it seems. It's completely decompressed and a lot of style under which it seems there's a lack of substance. And there's a contrivance of plot at times where things happen that are meant to be cool rather than cool and make sense. The small house and the stories that lead into it suffered from a lot of that too. That art is stunning though. And Henry flint to come? It does help.

Havent a notion what's going on in The Order. John Burns though? That's enough for me.

I'm really enjoying Full Tilt Boogie. It feels like something new for the prog and looks terrific.

Diaboliks is good fun and I'm glad I did a reread of Caballistics & Absalom recently. This is 60s/70s international occult action movie time. Good craic.

Love The Out too. Abnett has been knocking it out of the park for a while now. Things like this keep my subscription going.

Just my two cents JB

Whatever my feelings on the 'surprise' I would like to concur with everyone and say huge fair play for getting the comic out and for committing to keeping it coming out. Big thanks for that, JB

Agree with everything said in that spoiler. And then some.
Actually disrespectful. Sorry.
As close to original published size as possible? Give us it at 1.5 size and it's a no brainer. Was very disappointed with Third World War being the smaller size but the Nemesis Hardback was a lovely edition.

It's a little pity about the spine but it's just great they did them again this year. I thought I'd have to go back to the plain black binders. These are great and more and more I'm reading stories when completed cos they don't read well in weekly chunks. I think a discount for subscribers would be a nice touch though.

Absolutely. Fingers crossed. Some series read better in one go rather than weekly and these binders have been life savers. Really hope they keep them going.

Does anyone know if there's plans to have an updated design for the Thrill Power Containment units (prog and Meg binders). We're getting close to the end of the year and it's normally around now it would be announced. Cheers. JB

Books & Comics / Re: Rok the God Kickstarter

I concur. Get in there big time. I've pledged and while its slowing a bit there is still a good bit of time left! If you haven't read the first book the £40 pledge for both books is SO worth it. Just brilliant comics. If ya have read it and liked it then hop on the £20 pledge for book 2. Don't wait for it to come out cos it may not if you don't pledge.

There's a ways to go but outside of the people who have already backed there must be a thousand 2000ad fans that would go for either the one or two book pledge.

Am I completely mad in thinking that it would be generous of rebellion to give the guys an Ad in the prog free gratis? After all John Wagner has done quite a bit for them and comics in general over the years.

Get in the back of the net! Give em a pledge.

Oh really? That gives me a little hope so. It was over four volumes though no?

That was quick! Really glad I got mine so. Hope this uptake means they'll give the same treatment to the other two volumes. I'm guessing it depends if French sales also? If they do them it means that we might get the prog 2000 story and they might also move the Chris Weston story to the right place in the volume rather than at the back.

I'd be crazy to wish for the Deadlock solo story in there too but it is a kind of epilogue to book x and wouldn't it be nice to see that Henry Flint art in a big format?

I was literally only thinking why have they not done Nemesis in a Mek Files format and what do you know? Well I've pulled the trigger. There'll be a Nemesis Vol. 1 paperback for sale soon!

COMPLETELY agree on the Strontium Dog Idea. That stunning Carlos art in a bigger format? Yes please.
