I have in me possesion 1 tiny judge dredd and 1 equally small johnny alpha. Johnny is a bit wierd lookig but i gotta say I like dredd. Ne one else seen these?

I was wondering if there was any publishing company that published othere european comics in UK. I'd say there are a few comics out there that are good but I don't know any.

Is it just me or does every body here get along. I know scojo use to flame everybody and stuff but is there any one here with a mortal enemy on the board.

Can anybody remember what the Law is.

Has anybody read the Filth written by Grant Morrison and art by chris weston. It's published by DC Vertigo. If you haven't read it go do it right now. It is absolutely amazing. The art is brilliant and the story is just so insane.

Also League of extroardinary(sp?) gentlemen volume 2 has been released. Now I haven't read the first volume yet so I haven't started the second volume so I can't comment on it.

Hey guys I need help remembering the names to three movies.

In the first movie a good guy and a bad guy shoot at each other and the bullets hit each other. The seen I think is an old bar or something. I can't remember actor's or plot or anything just this scene.

The other movie is a cartoon that was out a long time ago (10-12 years). it was about a guy who gets sucked into a game and becomes a dragon, and theres and older dragon who teaches him stuff. I can remember a big troll living in a house/castle under a bridge and there was a real evil bad guy who thought he could control the sun. I think it was english not american. Any help would be greatly apprediated.

I got 1288, 1289, 1290 yesterday. 1288 was alright but 1289 and 90 had me dying to get todays 2000ad which I'll get tomorrow. 13 rules.

I was in a public toilet the other day when I saw a chopper engraved in the wall, it had the smily in the O and everything. I just thought that was really cool. It's very old aswell. Any way has any one else seen 2k related graphiti??

I get my weekly 2000ad from the local comic shop. They get all there stuff from Diamond. INcluding 2000ad. I have no problem with this. I do have to wait until thursday but that's how long I have to wait with the newsagents. However last week my comic wasn't delivered. And this week instead of getting last weeks and this weeks comics together I just got last weeks. Now allow me to say I am really pissed offfff.

At the end of vanguard one of the stories form last year it says "End of Book 1". Has anybody heard anthing for plans about book 2. The only reason I'm asking is because although book 1 is crap there is potential for a bloody good story.

Has any one here seen blade 2? Two of the vampires in the bloodpack, Priest and Asad, well they reminded me a lot of sinister and dexter. There look did. They didn't really act like them.

Can I just say that this board is really begining to piss me off. Infact it has been beginning to piss me off for about 2 months. It's a great board and all but I think that it could do with a couple of changes. I guess what I erally want is something more like UBB or phpBB. IMO* it wouldn't take to much to change. Instead of have a layout which showed each post you just have the name of the first post. Then in the view thread section you could put the whole reply deely.

Oh I am a happy student. RAG week started yesterday and I was drunk at 18:00. It was brilliant. I did have a hangover when I went to the club later on though but hey that's just another reason to drink. Woo Hoo.

On the weekend I got out my Button Man 1,2 and 3 out of the cupboard and I read them all back to back. Im still suffering from the thrill power overload so It has taken me until now to write this, a sort of review on BM. Really its just me oging on about how much I loved it and why it is well written and sorry I got a little side tracked.

Im goinng to tackle this on writing and then art cause Im crap at english and Im rambling again.

Writing. It was really well written. Although it was written without a sequel in mind wagner was able to pull two of them out of it. Although I read Button Man 1 in the Megazine I still feel that it wasn't written with the standard format of a 2000ad story in mind, i.e. a climax at the end of each week, as the story is readable in a single sitting with out noticing any refering back to previous issues (although this doesn't happen that much anymore). Also, and this is very evident in Button man 3, some scenes continue in the next prog.
The small cast also allows for some great character development. In the end I couldn't decide if Harry liked killing or not. (An example). One thing that really stands out for me is when frankie dies in 3. She appears in 2 progs I think, maybe 1 not sure but you still feel sorry for her when she gets killed. Or maybe thats angry at Harry I don't know.

The art.
At first way back when 2 came out in 2000ad I didn't really like the art but it grew on me. And now I love it. I can't pick out one particular picture or anything cause I just glanced at it as I was reading the comic. Except maybe the psychologists head in the fish tank and all the blood in the room, which brings me onto my third new point.

The violence.
The reason I started reading 2000ad was because of the violence. The first prog I read was one with firekind in it. There is a picture in it of an alien who gets shot in the head. The reader gets to see blood come ouit of it and it has the exit wound in it and everything. I was hooked. Button Man has this violence. There is the already mentioned head in the fish bowl and when harry takes all ov one of the voiuces markers and when harry leaves you mans head on the railway track (sugeestive art not graphic), oh and when harry blows micheal the Film producers head off. Thats all great gooey red sauce and I loved it.

Is Tor Cyan Rogue trooper or what

This has been discussed before but I just have two suggestions.
1. Put all posts in chronolgical order. (Kinda like UBB/PHPBB).
2. Is it possible for posts that havent been read since the last time you logged in to be shown in old print.

I was just wondering if there was any chance of getting 2000ad Hoodies in the shop. I generally don't wear fleeces but I do wear hoodies.
