Very enjoyable opening episode!
Lots going on and very stylish. Looking forward to seeing the mystery unfold over the upcoming episodes.

Do you have ANY idea how relieved this makes me?  :)

HA-HA!!  :)

Yeah, it's best viewed as a comic book parallel universe-ish take on Da Vinci.. History pedants need not apply... Or at least apply logic. It's entertainment.  ;)

Tomorrow night, folks..

Just to clarify.. This is historical FANTASY.. Something a lot of people appear to be missing (from all the blurb that Starz has released..)..

Dredd is getting a steel-book.

Sigh...

Most of which will no doubt end up in some obsessive bloke's cellar..

Only 3890 copies...2D edition...

I'm not knocking any attempt the History Channel is making to show something historical, even if it is inaccurate.

I have been so hacked off that one of my favorite channels has been hijacked to show crappy, 3rd rate reality shows about strange Americans living in swamps, in Alaska,in trucks, in pawn shops, in storage lockers etc that I took to leaving abusive messages on their facebook page. Their moderator has asked me nicely to bugger off so I have given up that particular pastime for the time being.

That cheap TV bollocks is pissing me off too.. I remember, once upon a time, watching fascinating documentaries about aviation on Discovery channel.. Long gone, of course. All now replaced by said bullshit.

I noticed today that on a big, recent chart at Sainsburys, Dredd was still on the number 9 spot :)

It almost feels like the powers that be behind Dredd almost purposely went out of their way to make Dredd perform as poorly as possibly, in a 'Fine, we'll fund this movie but we're not going to enjoy it-and don't even bother asking about a sequel cos yer lucky to get this..' sort of way..
