Wolfriders on kickstarter
#3
Hi all

The latest issue of SENTINEL is on kickstarter for 12 more days.

Wolfriders is a manga inspired fantasy action adventure. It's got good vs evil, elves riding wolves (yes, inspired by the old Elfquest series, natch), an evil queen, magic, fighting, adventure and, oooh, a lot more - all crammed into 64 pages of pure entertainment.

Comic Book News UK said the following: "Wolfriders is a must-read for comic enthusiasts looking for a standalone adventure that blends classic fantasy elements with the distinct style of Manga. It's a fun, action packed fantasy adventure that's filled with elves, wolves, tons of action and heart."

The "B" cover is from Keith Robson, acclaimed Starblazer cover artist, and it's beautiful. It's his second for Sentinel, the only publication he done a cover for in over 25 years.

The first NINE pages are on the Kickstarter, so take a look and see if it floats your boat. And shares on social media would be VERY appreciated - got to help the indies, eh?

ANyway, here's the KS link: LINK IN POST RPELY

Thanks for the kind comments, I truly feel it would not look out of place in the Prog.

If Thargy wanted we'd happily do more, if only it were that easy.

Hope you like this, can't dent that artist Paul Spence really channels Massimo. The whole thing was a labour of love. Some wonderful background silliness, and a lovely tribute at the bottom of the final page.

I always loved the strip, as did Paul.

DREDD is based on a fantastic premise, one that goes against what Dredd himself has rammed home to us readers over the years. Hopefully this will run and reach a conclusion, not splinter like recent Niemand ones.

DEVIL'S RAILROAD finished as depressingly as it has been all along, but I found it compelling, a real change from what we normally get. I don't usually like Milligan too much, but this was a cracker, even if I COMPLETELY get who so many disliked it. I'd like to see a follow up.

FERAL AND FOE is, as usual, the best looking strip by a mile, and it looks like we have a big shake up to come which is never a bad thing.

DROID LIFE is one of the worst, with the pun hard to get and far less clever than it thinks it is. Shame, as I usually love it.

Dredd was pretty decent, and Spector, too. I'd be happy to see more of RobotCop,

Black Museum was awful, purely because of a script that any editor who has the faintest clue about Dreddworld would have bashed some fucking logic into it.

Gteat start to Callable Justice. Always nice to have Yeowell back.

the U.S Dredd was, I thought, pretty decent.

I now people like the cover but I think it's ugly.

Niemand has been showing signs of having run out of steam for a while now, and DREDD continues his/her/their trend of dragging shit out as long as you can. Ultimately it didn't matter, I didn't care, and I really didn't gasp in excitement at the 'end'.

Devil's Railroad is bonkers but it looks and reads great.

Feral and Foe continues to be a lot of fun and the art is absolutely brilliant.

Pretty solid issue. Feral & Foe continues to be a highlight, with a strong script and amazing art. I have got quite invested in The Devil's Railroad, too.
