Games / Strontium Dog RPG
21 July, 2009, 08:57:58 PM
Hot on the heals of Mongoose's August Dredd RPG release...

Mongoose have announced the release of the first Strontium Dog RPG (also based on the Traveller game system).
It will be released in October, in conjunction with the a Dredd RPG supplement "Democracy Falls", and a Strontium Dog supplement "Bounties and Warrants".

Imagine if Alex Kingston's Character turned out to be the new Master (the one that picked up the ring at the end of the last Master episode)?

What would the implications of this be?

-although this is unlikely as John Simms is to return with Tennant and Timothy Dalton.

"View unread posts" - isn't working for me. Nothing is showing.
What's the difference between it (not working) and "View Active Topics" which seems to be showing loads of posts? (other than that one works, and the other doesn't?)

Won a competition to go to the cinema at work, with 3 colleagues, and my boss (Average age 34).
We went to see Ice Age 3 thought it was very good. All of us enjoyed it.
Really want to take the kids to see it.

Some of the moderator functions don't seem to be available.
There were (already) some pornographic posts - which I managed to remove, however I couldn't ban the user from posting again.

You needed the help of an Admin droid, not a MOD.

Even if I had seen an email, or this post at an earlier date, I wouldn't have been able to help.

QuoteI suspect Frazer getting top-flight gigs at DC has slowed this down even more. The down side of getting a great artist on your project

Then why is his next project (as solicited in Previews) for a "smaller" independent company?

Edit: Frazer is only drawing Issues 1&5. Other 2000ad are contributing to it too.

er, Legoland parks were sold by Lego years ago- as per my previous email. Although Lego do own a partial share in the company.
Also, Lego company aren't in the shits, they've been doing fairly well this year from what I've read in the local (Billund) paper.

Keef- Does Alan Grant have any pulling power with them anymore? He worked on the Lego magazine for a while. Also the time to approach them, is probably around the time  the new film is reviewed as a mega-"block"-buster :)

The only thing they revealed last night is that the Stig who drove the lap previous to his grand-entrance was Shoe-maker

The ABC Warriors story could be the Alan Moore / Steve Dillon tale: Red Planet Blues from 2005. I thought it had been reprinted in B/W, but can't find it anywhere. So I must be mistaken.

The Slaine story could be pretty much any of them where he had a Warp Spasm.

I was given the book for Christmas, having been recommended it by the HiveMIND.
I still haven't read it yet, but I did see the trailer, and I think it might be something for me and hte missus to see in the bio.

I imagine that the reason Rebellion dropped the hardback line was that sales of them generally weren't that high, specifically in relation to the sales of the non-hardback collections, and that it therefore was more financially viable to produce softbacks. (purely my thoughts on the subject).

I'm pretty certain I have the two Anderson hair lengths, the two Slaine heads, and the clear death.

I'd have bought all of them.

Would still love to see RT and the ABCs
