Does anyone know the title of this film?

It's about a woman on a train at night who believes she sees a murder committed in a house as the train passes by. That's all I can remember!

It might be in black & white, and probably made in the fifties... I think. Thanks.

'Murder, She Said', the 1961 adaptation of the Miss Marple story '4.50 from Paddington'.
The wages of sin are death, but the hours are good and the perks are fantastic.

Aha! Thank you.

That is very likely the one... except all the sysnopses I can find state she sees the murder taking place on another train. I'm certain in the one I'm thinking of it happens on the first floor of a house.

I've had good search around, and it might be Lady on a Train (1945), but then, for all I know, I'm thinking of both of these films, and confusing them with Rear Window.
