I haven't mentioned my blog lately, so I wanted to let everybody know that Thrillpowered Thursday has made it to within eight years of the present day, and that today's article talks about Carver Hale and the returns of Mike McMahon and Steelhorn to the ABC Warriors.  Plus a few words on the twelfth Dredd Case File.  Stop by and read a little, won't ya?

And a great read it is too. Visit it regularly and there are other bits on Grant's pages that are worth checking out too.

aargh, I'd forgotten that cover!
Good to see you still at it there!

Good grief!  I forgot to mention that Thrillpowered Thursday is back from its summer vacation.  Actually, we've been back for a couple of weeks, so stop by when you get a chance, for articles about Prog 2002, Storming Heaven, Shakara and the infamous 25th Anniversary story!

A Night 2 Remember... and more!

I am an avid follower of TPT I really enjoying it on my thursday break at work

speaking of which since you are slowly creeping up on being current will you continue to do TPT when you are up to the present?

I honestly haven't thought about it yet, to tell the truth.  I think it's still more than a year off, though.

Just 'cos I feel like talking about my stuff... Thrillpowered Thursday is back this week with a word or two about Abnett & Elson's Atavar:

Plus, if you haven't read Pat Mills' Requiem - Vampire Knight before, I've got a review of the first collected edition from Heavy Metal up on my Bookshelf blog:

And, since I think these comics would be completely new and unknown to you guys, I have been testing the patience of my LiveJournal friends by posting the entirety of a small newspaper's Sunday funnies page from 1976 and marvelling at how strange and (mostly) awful they are:

Wow! Grant, I love TTP. So much so that it was vying for my attention with Babylon 5 and almost won!  :o

By some wonderful coincidence the blog starts with some progs that I bought last week and am currently reading, then a few entries later reaches the period when I started buying 2000ad, the late 800s. It's been a joy to relive those heady days and follow the progression to the 'rebirth' with The Pit, Sinister Dexter and Nikolai Dante.

You may just have inspired me to start my own re-read. Keep it up!

Hey everyone, Thrillpowered Thursday is going to take another short break after today's edition - something about furniture stacked up in front of my prog shelves or someting - but before I dim the lights for a couple of weeks, there's a pulse-pounding entry about The Scarlet Apocrypha, Citizen Sump and The Bendatti Vendetta, so stop on by!

And if you didn't see my post in the Classifieds, give me a holler and buy something, I've got new furniture expenses out the wazoo!
