Wayne Kramer (MC5) - Kick Out the Jams, motherf*ckers

I read his autobiography a few years ago, he led an incredible life - he was the subject of the Clash's song 'The Prisoner'

Saw The Holdovers which was excellent - warm, funny and uplifting - the perfect antidote to January blues

Saw Poor Things by Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos (The Favourite, The Lobster).
Completely nuts film with Emma Stone, Willem Defoe & Mark Ruffalo. I absolutely loved it but perhaps not for everyone.

Oh boy that guest list is amazing. I am going to go for the first time ever. My Xmas presents are all cash 💰 for sketches. Can't wait 😛

Saw How To Have Sex. Thought it was very good, but pretty disturbing too (as the father of two teenage girls).

Saw Napoleon. Really didn't like it. If it's not historically accurate then at least make it entertaining, but it's not even that. Dire.

Yes I got the John Stokes Captain Britain 10-15 years ago from eBay, couldn't believe my luck, especially as it has Jackdaw & Black Knight too (I also have two CB Bowen busts, the original & the Alan Davis version).

The PJ Holden Happy Valley page I bought direct from him on Twitter, very happy with it. The Paul Grist is a page from Jack Staff. Probably the thing I'm most happy with is the Mike Western Joe Darkie though.

My biggest regret is passing on a really lovely David Lloyd V For Vendetta sketch (this is well before it all blew up with the film etc). This was at the Bedford Hotel in London many years ago. It was offered for £30, I only had £20 in cash on me :(. Oh for a TARDIS.

My comics are all in long boxes in the loft sadly. I only have a few GN's and Omnibus's in my 'office' and some original art on the wall, but they all mean a lot to me  :D

For me the best Alan Moore is V For Vendetta & Captain Britain. Recently re-read the CB omnibus (after getting a CB headshot sketch from Alan Davies at Bedford NICE Con) and it really stands up. Creative, fun and intelligent storytelling as you would expect.

One day (when I retire) I'm going to teach myself how to design and print my own dust jackets. On that glorious day I will hoover up a large number of these collections. But until then my OCD will not allow the random spines on my bookshelf  :(

Actually I bet Rebellion could make a small fortune selling the dust jackets separately
