if you don't mind reading it that would be a big help but you don't need to if you're just being nice. Drop me your facebook addy by pm as I am on my phone which doesn't greatly enjoy email, though it is fine with this forum - ah technology! but as I said it is quite a dry hard science story so that's you're warning.

My questions are...
Is it too dry for 2000ad?
Does the dialogue/text make sense?
Is any of it mundane/unneccessary?
Are the panel descriptions clear enough?
Did you understand the twist?

Yes I couldn't see a thread on it but I shall have a swatch over that thread as advice and opinion is almost always beneficial. Even if I don't agree with it, often especially if I don't agree with it ;) x

that's a shame you won't have it finished but alas speed is a lot of artists downfall. You should practice speed drawing - see how much of a page you can get done in say 2 hours - cos you might be able to work a lot faster to a similar standard with practice x

oh stop it you. I was being coded out of geek embarrassment rather than trendy youthness so thankyou for making me openly state that...

GW - I like to paint little demons and play war strategies

DnD - I like to play RPGs or 'role play games'

Yo3 - I like to play card games including yugioh online 3

Fashions - I like to get dressed up in cyber punk, steam punk, goth or whatever I feel like even if I'm just sitting about the house

>_> are you happy now lol? X x

Books & Comics / Re: What attracts you to a comic?
20 February, 2012, 04:48:44 PM
I cover all bases on this question...

I stalk writers such as morrison, ellis, gaiman, grant, ennis, bendis.

I stalk artists such as sienciewicz, quitely (<3 vinnies sexy), dayglo, bisley

I stalk titles such as 2000ad of course ;), fables, hellblazer,

I stalk 'greatest comics of all time' lists and eisner awards such as jimmy corrigan, black hole, tintin

I stalk small press and local marts designating 20 quid or whatever soley to buying indie comics at marts.

I regularly trade old graphic novels and singles with my friends for stuff I've never heard of cos ffs there's no point keeping every single thing you read just for the sake of it so I end up with all sorts of crazy shit

Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

thankyou stevie. Are you referring to yourself in third person or talking about another stevie? Best to clear that up early. It is so very rare and a sign of excellence to win the double hugo and nebula awards. Being well publicised and 'of the moment' can sometimes win the fans choice, while being pretentious and 'arsey' can sometimes take the critics choice. But you can't fool all the people all of the time ;)

Plus I luurve the old scifi covers so lovely :) very nice morbid book shop lady informed me that its the perfect time for 60s and 70s first eds due to the inevitable tumble of nature x x
